Monica Zent Ms. Zent concentrates her practice in the areas of: outsourcing, corporate law and commercial transactions, and intellectual property law and licensing, with an emphasis in serving the technology, Internet, computer software, music, entertainment, sports and consumer products industries. She has successfully negotiated a wide variety of complex transactions in these industries. Prior to founding Zent Law Group, Ms. Zent practiced in the Corporate and Corporate and Intellectual Property Transactions Group with a well known global law firm. During that period, Ms. Zent represented clients such as Accenture, Bebe Stores, E*Trade, Gyricon Media (XEROX PARC), Palm, Inc., Maxtor Corporation, and Recreational Equipment International (REI) in connection with transactional matters. Prior to that, Ms. Zent was the Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Fox Television Studios in Los Angeles where she was responsible for overseeing all legal and business matters for the company's domestic and international (including Fox Kids Latin America and Saban Entertainment) cable television and music properties. In addition, with her colleague and business partner, Ms. Zent launched Music Concepts Worldwide, LLC, a non-profit music marketing company releasing specialty music products designed for charitable causes. Prior to joining the Fox organization, Ms. Zent held various business and legal affairs positions with film, cable television and music publishing companies, such as MTM Enterprises, The Family Channel, and International Family Entertainment.

Ms. Zent publishes a blog Legal Minute Ms. Zent is a licensed and practicing California attorney with a J.D. and Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Philosophy, with highest honors. She has completed the Executive M.B.A. Program at Stanford University and written various articles on issues of legal interest. Ms Zent is a panel presenter at legal and business industry events on topics relating to her practice specialties.
